This was Patrick's 1st excursion. He followed a bunch of kids on a bus to the Wildlife World Zoo, where he embarked on many adventures.
Some, taking his life in his own hands.

Or the hands of his wenches. One of the wenches almost fell into the Tiger's Den trying to place and retrieve Patrick on a post. You can't really see him, but he is there, almost at the expense of his wench.

Not to mention that his wenches all got in trouble for snapping pictures of the much photogenic Patrick. The boat guide caught them snapping his photo and decided to broadcast it to all of those who were in the boat. To the boat captain's dismay, he found out that these wenches were in charge of the large group of children they were accompanying.
At the end, he was glad to go. This was a remarkable journey because it began the Legacy that is now Patrick the Pirate.
